June's Online Speaking Corner IV: Blind drawings

We played a sort of game where we had to draw following the other mates' instructions. Joan had previously sent us pictures of several famous paintings. It was pretty difficult, whether you had to describe the pictures or you had to draw them.

When I finished my draw I realized I drew an outdoor while the last instructions were about a room.

June's Online Speaking Corner III: Topical stereotypes

I met again with my classmates Rat and Marce in a corner where Joan proposed us to talk about topical stereotypes. As usual, firstly we were chatting about trivial topics like food. But, step by step, topics got deeper and tricky.

The final speaking class with Ingrid

I had my final Skype session with our auxiliary conversation teacher. She said to me that she talked with around 40 students in this course. I told her I enjoyed a lot her classes.

June's Online Speaking Corner II: Friendships

Joan proposed to us to talk about our friendships in the second Online Speaking Corner of June. More precisely, he asked about the differences between our friends when we were younger and nowadays.

Honestly, I don't like very much psychologist talks. And I've never had many friends, neither in the past nor in the present. But I suppose they are the best to bind us to use lots of conditionals and connectors.

I think people usually don't distinguish between friends and acquaintances, but I don't mind admitting that I have very few close friends.

June's Online Speaking Corner I: Art&Cultures

Joan showed us photos of monuments to talk about different periods of history and their art: Egypt, Rome, the Middle Age, the Renaissance, and so on.

I would like to visit Egypt, but we are living an uncertain and confusing time... I hope I may go in the future.

Speaking class 1st June

I talked to Ingrid again and I told her that I'm stressed because tomorrow I'm going to do my speaking exam. She was very nice and sent me a picture to practice with her.

As a little bird said, pictures are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. 😜

Ingrid wished me good luck and I thank her a lot for her patience.
