Stereotypes, superheroes, and heroines in real life


In the summer course, we worked on weekly projects. We finished every project working in groups, and we had to present our project to the teacher and the classmates.

We spent the first week talking about common stereotypes that are said about people from different countries. The following week, we focused on Superheroes and then in real women that have been important. I loved this topic because I'm a nerd and a woman. We finished the project with a crazy, hilarious interview where I was the astronaut Mae Jemison.

Hit the Road


Last year I attended a review course in July, but this year I didn't want a face-to-face course because  I'm trying to keep a social distance due to the coronavirus. I finally decided to join the summer intensive course at Cornellà's EOI.

I looked up the title meaning on the internet. Hit the road is an idiom that means to leave, or to start a journey. There is a famous R&B song by Ray Charles and The Raelettes:
