I'm used to lookup on Eventbrite activities related to special dates and I wanted something lovely to celebrate St. Valentine.

Skype with Ingrid
I met Ingrid again on January 15th and 18th. She says that even advanced students make mistakes when they talk about the weather. In English, we say, for instance: It's sunny today, it's 24 degrees.
Ingrid shared her screen with me and I learned new vocabulary. I love the word SLUSH, there is not in Spanish a word to talk about dirty, partly melted snow.

I joined a virtual tour of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam organized by the non-profit community organization Washington, DC History & Culture.
The activity was led by its founder, Robert Kelleman.

January's English Conversation Meetup
Wednesday, 6 January 2021
Skype with Ingrid
As a Christmas present, the students' Association of the Cornella's EOI organized new speaking sessions through the Workaway program. The activity consists of 30 minutes of individual conversation in English by Skype.
When I saw the proposal I was raring to go! I was happy to meet again Ingrid on January 5th and 6th.

Ho Ho Homicide - Murder Mystery Online (27th-31st Dec)
I played another Murder Mystery Online. It was called Ho Ho Homicide and was performed by Femme Fatalities. They are only 3 people doing everything and playing all the characters, therefore there wasn't any interrogation live session. However, they managed quite well to make an entertained plot set in Santa's headquarters.
I paid £9,00 for a ticket and I donate some money to CLIC Sargent, the charity that this event supported.
Although I don't have enough level to be able to identify the murderer yet, I love these games. I'm looking forward to playing live escape room games again, but online mysteries are also funny and are safer in order to avoid the coronavirus disease.
