A Brush with Death - A 1920's five day virtual murder mystery challenge (25th-30th May)

I played the May's virtual murder challenge performed by MurderedforMoney. The game was called A Brush with Death, and the plot takes place in 1923, when the Dowager Lady Rothersfield announces her plans to change her will and potentially disinherit her daughter and son in favour of the butler and cook.

I wouldn't want to lose faith in my detective skills, but I didn't guess who was the murderer one more time.

May's English Conversation Meetup

I took part in the monthly English Conversation Meetup organized by the Aurora Public Library in Ontario. The  activity was originally planned to support people living in Canada that need to improve their  English skills. Nevertheless, there were people connected from Colombia, London, Germany, or China. It was nice answer different questions and listening to the other students.

A Poetry Murder Mystery

As I love mysteries, I booked this activity on Eventbrite. Nevertheless, the title didn't fit the content, it was only the common thread.

The activity was actually a poetic recital organized by The Braag where three poets participated: Rishi Dastidar, Katie Byford and  Fathima Zahra. The host  explained the murder at the beginning and then presented the poets/suspects. Every poet recited several poems and it is suposed there were hidden clues. However, I didn't catch up the clues, partialy beause my level, but also because I didn't know what I slould spect.

It was not the kind of activity that I was expecting, buy I finally enjoyed it very much. I don't  really like reading poetry. Yet, I love listening to it when the performers are good. In adittion, the poets shared their screens so it was perfect for me because I could follow the text!
