Knee Pain Corrective Exercise Workshop

My knees have been hurting for some time now, so i decided to join a workshop leaded by Renee Moten. I thought I could kill two birds with one stone and practice my listening skills.

She talked a lot about be able to take control of our life and be able to get down and to get off the floor. I belive that her target were older women than me, but I learned three usefull exercises: ankle circles, tennis ball rolling and windshield wipers.

The Art of Watercolour: How to Paint Nature

I participated in a workshop organized by the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS). The activity was led by visual artist and teacher Sylvia Russell, who showed us how to capture a beautiful Manitoba lake scene with watercolour paints.

I meant to paint, but the rhythm was too fast and I know enough about watercolor to know you need time to let dry the painting. So I preferred to enjoy the explanations.

Pep Talk Radio: Weekly English Conversation

I saw on Eventbrite a free English Conversation event organized by Pep Talk Radio that brought me an opportunity to practice my conversational skills.

I didn't know how it exactly worked. I joined the meeting by zoom and I was placed in a room with other people. There was a South African, a Brazilian and a Russian. I talked for a while to the Brazilian and then he left the room and I chatted about food with the Russian. They were nice people and we had fun, but then a Turkish came into the room and started to ask the Russian about Vladimir Puttin's politics. It was very uncomfortable.
