5th level at Cornellà's EOI
I saw on Eventbrite a virtual murder mystery organized by Newton Abbot Library. I booked the ticket and I received an email that contained the evidence file before I joined the online event on Facebook. The suspects were played by four young women that work at the library.
I attended via a Zoom webinar to the talk "The Last Witches of England".
I joined the monthly English Conversation Meetup organized by the Aurora Public Library. The activity is organized to support foreigners living in Canada that need to improve their English skills and it's lead by a woman who arrived herself to Canada from Mexico ten years ago.
This time the topic was very tough in my oppinion. We had to answer to existencial questions like: What is the meaning of life? What do you think happens after life? What important life lessons have you learned? If tomorrow was your last day to live, what would you do? 😱
I've been playing all the summer with the Lyrics Training App. I installed this application in my phone as an easy and fun way to learn and improve my English skills through the music videos and the lyrics of my favorite songs.
The game consists to fill the gaps in the lyrics of a music video before the time was up. Besides, you have to complete at least one song a day to keep your streak. I've chanllenged myself and I've gotten a 50 and a 37 days streak so far.
I usually lose my progress in holidays or special days. Such as my wedding anniversary or a bank holiday.
Our school celebrates its 10th birthday this course, so our new teacher said that the guiding thread is going to be the number 10.
I changed the design of my blog to match it with the new topic. I mixed different images in a mess where I combined the Ten Commandments, with the Bowling game, ten fingers, the 10 rings of power, a Birthday cake, Decathlon and the Agatha Christie's book And Then There Were None. I think my collage is quite weird, but it's funny as well.
